No-one is ever going to claim this is the kind of event that is going to give you a heart attack or scare you senseless. Instead this is a family event that is appropriately decorated with Disney villains. One big plus is that you are able to dress up as long as you don’t cover your face or bring anything that could be used as a weapon(sticks, props, or replicas). Again these events are more fun in a group so try and get a couple of people to go with you. Some of the attractions are open and Disney does the most wonderful thing of limiting the number of people at the event so the lines are not as long as usual. The main selling point of this event is all the villains coming out for pictures with the guests and that you get to trick or treat at Disneyland.
Stations are spread out throughout the park but there is nothing really stopping you from going to a line repeatedly. The only reason you do want to go from station from station is to see all the Halloween decorations throughout the park. You won’t be disappointed if you are a Disney or a fan of recouping your admission price with chocolate. Part of the fun is seeing the visitors dressed as different disney characters and getting compliments on your costume from strangers. In terms of attractions the best Halloween attraction is Space Mountain. The attraction goes from the high speed happy travel through space and becomes the Ghost Galaxy. This is genuinely a scary ride and a surprise for Disney. The ride is not adorable and the galactic demon is genuinely disturbing. The only other difference is the ride is completely dark and honestly feels a bit faster. Overall a nice pleasant night of eating candy, taking pictures with Disney Villains and enjoying the decorations.
